We have stayed at several other B & B and have not found the cleanliness, friendliness, convenience and accomodations offered by Terry and Debra Flowers. We have recommended the King George IV to all of our friends knowing that they will not be disappointed. If you are going to Charleston you are missing out if you do not stay here. We have stayed at King George IV 3 times and have found it to be the most hospitable and comfortable accomodations in Charleston. Its convenient location allowed us to walk to many of the sites and restaurants we wanted to visit. We did not get to meet the "ghost" wife, but Terry more than made us feel welcome. He even shared one of his recipes with us! We always recommend a trip to Charleston including a stay at King George IV to all of our friends who are planning a vacation. It was mother's last trip to Charleston as she is quite advanced in age now and can no longer travel. We all 3 had some of our fondest memories in Charleston SC during Spoletto when we stayed at this lovely and gracious Inn. Terry was such a wonderful cook and charming and helpful host. He just couldn't do enough for us! Victoria, the inn's most regal cat mistress is a darling hostess too!
